Student Action Board Changes Focus

PCC student leaders took new steps in 2009 to retarget constituencies for their programs. PCC aimed in previous years at helping upperclassmen adjust to daily academic and social challenges. The SAB noted that middle school students faced even more significant transition issues and should be PCC’s new focus for Food for Thought.

Based upon their own survey research, among targeted students, SAB is publishing a brochure to be given to all incoming freshmen in May 2009 the brochure will cover strategies and resources to help them succeed in high school.
